Who we are

Harris Design and Technology Services – was Originally established as Karl Harris Designs in 2008. With changes in the industry incorporating new technology in the building industry, Karl Harris Designs was reformed as Harris Design & Technology Services in 2014. The newly reformed service is an architectural consulting service specializing in Drafting and Building Information Modeling. The mission remains the same: to help redevelop urban life through refurbishing all the infrastructure through sustainable design, promote business development and leadership. Clientele based includes federal and local government as well as architectural offices, Real Estate Developers, and local entrepreneurs. Harris Design and Technology Services provides architectural consulting services, for residential and commercial buildings. These service include: Building surveys to produce "as-built" architectural drawings. Architectural design and development, ensuring building meets clients needs as well as code. Architectural Drafting; producing construction documents for obtaining building permits. 3D laser scanning during each phase of construction to produce Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Models for those who are interested in digital twins. Also Building Information Modeling via CAD to BIM to perform clash detection to eliminate errors during the construction process. HDT services a wide variety of clients, including: Architects, Engineers, General Contractors, Real Estate Developers, Small business owners, and home owners.
